Hello and Welcome from Nancy!
Welcome back to those returning Cushman families and welcome to
our new Cushman families. We are delighted to have your children here
this year and look forward to a wonderful learning year together.
Note the underscore between the first and second words.

- September 24, 2008, 7:00 PM. Parent/ Teacher Open House
Come meet your teachers, find out about school policies, how you can
volunteer, what will be happening in your child's classroom.
- September 27, 2008, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM. Apple Harvest & Crafts Festival Help volunteer an hour or more at our table.
- October 1, 2008, 5:00-7:00 PM. Cushman kids, parents, and
teachers potluck.
Bring something to share.
- October 8, 2008, 6:00-8:30 PM. Nurtured Heart Parent Night
with Kiah Tinkham
All school introduction to the Nurtured
Heart Approach-how it works at Cushman Scott Children's Center and
how you can use it at home.
- October 18, 2008, 6:00-8:30 PM. Date Night Parents' Night out! Leave
your children here and have some alone time. Our teachers volunteer
their time to create an enjoyable evening at school as a fundraiser
for the school!
- November 22, 2008, 4:00-7:00 PM. Mini-Mall at Cushman Our
Upstairs will be transformed into a Mini-Mall for your Holiday
Shopping Convenience. We will have vendors and items from each class
to purchase. Open to the public- please bring friends!
- December 13, 2008, 6:00-8:30 PM. Date Night
- June 28, 2009. Upstairs Class Graduation Sunday afternoon! Save the
date to celebrate all that the children have accomplished during their
time at Cushman.
- July 22, 2008, 5:30-7:30 PM. all school end of the year family
picnic Bring your dinner and blankets for a picnic!
Enrollment Information
All classrooms presently have openings for other children. Please tell
your friends about Cushman. Tours are available by appointment and are
best in the morning.
